Last stop… Christchurch, street art, excellent food, an ice cream stop and tiny explorers 🙌🏼 A rainy couple of days in Hanmer Springs, very glad we all brought our @merrypeople boots with us for the journey. The kids were very excited to be able to jump in ALL the puddles big and small. The rain also didn’t stop us from exploring the thermal pools and water park! Thanks for having us @hanmersprings #thegeorgesandgorriesinnz #weregoingonanadventure Today we jumped on the @interislander_nz and headed south, where we had a quick look around Picton and then a delicious meal at @witherhills another great day in NZ! #thegeorgesandgorriesinnz #weregoingonanadventure A wonderful day in Wellington! Te Papa in the morning, the beach for the afternoon and then dinner with The NZ Georges, Chris, Jude and Esther. I can’t think of a better way to spend our last day on the North Island for this visit! #thegeorgesandgorriesinnz #weregoingonanadventure From Whanganui to Wellington… a quick windy stop at Kai Iwi Beach for all the nostalgia and then on the road, stoping for some Kapiti Ice Cream while looking at Kapiti Island… lots of life’s simple pleasures for today.
